Recipes for Healthy Hair at Home |
Too busy to make the salon visit? These all natural, homemade hair recipes for treatment and condtioning are excellent ways to nourish the hair and scalp. Pamper yourself with a revitalizing shampoo, hot oil or conditioning treatment! Sounds great right? Well our times have made salon visits seem like a luxury and everyone's looking for innovative ways to stretch the budget. I've listed some of my favorite natural hair recipes and they can be used in the comfort of your own home. Monthly visits to your natural hair professional will enhance the overall health of your hair so be sure to schedule regular maintenance. The recipes can be used on a weekly basis. Lemon Rinse for Locs For Normal to Dry Hair 5oz Lemon Juice 2oz cool Distilled water 5 to 10 drops of Rosemary oil 2 to 5 drops of Almond Oil
The rinse will cleanse, stimulate and leave a little moisture. It also accelerates the coiling process. Catch the rinse in a basin, pouring and repouring through the hair. Light Detangler 4oz of distilled water 2 teaspoons of cream rinse 5 drops of sweet almond oil
Shake well before using (use spray bottle). Before combing out textured hair, spray solution on each individual section of the hair, comb to detangle starting at the ends first. |
